Ethical Skincare on the Go.
Conveniently located in Østbanehallen, L'Occitane is togheter with Normal (on the other side of the station) my go-to for quality skincare and body care products. I like their Almond Shower Oil and Shea Hand Soap – And they look good too in the bathroom 🙂 What really sets L'Occitane apart is their commitment to ethical production. Or that is what I read. They source shea butter from women's cooperatives in Africa, supporting local communities with each purchase.
The store here is spacious and bright, making it easy to browse even on a quick stop between trains. Knowing I'm getting very good products while backing fair practices feels good.

Whether you're a longtime fan or just discovering L'Occitane, this location is a must-visit for anyone prioritizing both their skin and values.

Ryddig og fin butikk. Jeg fant produktet jeg var ute etter raskt. Det var flere tilbud i butikken og de hadde fine gavetips. Den ansatte som var på jobb var imøtekommende og hyggelig. Vi fikk med diverse prøver med hjem. Vi valgte prøver for kropp, men kunne også fått med for ansikt eller hår, dersom det var ønskelig. Vi fikk også med prøve fra nabobutikken! ?
- veldig fin pose også, hehe!

Anbefaler å teste shower oil. Den er drøy i bruk og blir varm når man gnir den mellom hendene! Har kjøpt den mange ganger ? - Ellers har jeg vært fornøyd med andre kremer og såper som jeg har kjøpt tidligere ☺️

The worst experience. I came to buy one specific product and ended up with another. Had to go back another day and buy the correct one. The ignorant employee tried to pin it on me telling I didn’t ask and that I searched for a refill. And then added it’s a bestseller product & because of Christmas time coming they don’t display all the items.

Thing is, I’ve never used a refill.

I’m introvert, came yesterday to look for a product and suddenly the employee said: it’s same product, the refill. Ok, I thought, if the same, buying, as it is cheaper as well. I was not given time to look around what is in the shelf and attacked immediately - after just few seconds I stepped in a boutique. This thing I explained today - customer needs time to look around what is in the shelves. Why does shop employee not let customer breath, decide, ask but instead attacks with unnecessary advise/ remark, etc? What is this new trend? If this cosmetic line would be cheap I wouldn’t bother to lift my ass and pay for the train, come all the way ~40 km, waste my time.

On top of that she told I will be able to use it anyway, it’s good product - even after I told it’s not working for me, that I have an extremely dry skin & need just one specific product. If it worked I would not come to buy the specific item.

Never coming back though & will have to find a substitute. I’m not ok with this situation because you don’t pin on a customer the assumed truth of yours that if a customer standing at the shelf of a bestselling products and trying to locate a needed item, then voila you know the best.
