It seems like a lot of the bad reviews here are people blaming Coyote for bad experiences with the actual freight carrier. Coyote is just the broker- they really have no control over a late or damaged shipment, a rude truck driver, or bogus add-on fees- that's all the freight company, and Coyote has nothing to do with it. As for their broker services, honestly I've had nothing but good luck with Coyote. I've probably used them well over a hundred times, and they've made a very loyal customer out of me. They consistently come back with better rate quotes than the other freight brokers, and I've always found the customer support to be very responsive and helpful when needed. I've definitely had my share of issues with the actual trucking companies, but again, that's not Coyote's fault. I just choose a different carrier the next time. I've had really good experiences with Roadrunner, Forward Air, and ABF. I've had pretty bad experiences with T-Force, and Yellow (now out of business). R&L is usually okay, but not always.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Everytime I ether call about a load posted. The response I get is covered or can not work with and phone slammed. Or when I did book a load. They would give me a bullshit answer saying "Awwww. It was suppose to be on a reefer". Or "we will have to cancel the load with you. It was suppose to go on a flatbed". You can just hear the snarling sarcasm in the voice. I dont even get the $150 TONU from them!! Stay away from these people.

These guys are a bunch of scammers. We had a load on and coyote kept calling every other hour through the night and our driver finally told them to leave him alone he’s trying to sleep. So they banned us now for doing any loads for them, and they have not paid us for the load we were on. And it was for $2800 so it looks like we’ll just have to take them to small claims court. They are the worst in the business and they are rude as hell. Now when we call them about getting paid once they get our MC# they just hang up the phone. I suggest you run from his guys.

COYOTE LOGISTICS (nka RXO) - OVER 120 DAYS PAST DUE! DOES NOT PAY CARRIERS - DRIVERS for hauling their loads. We have been attempting to collect payment for a load paying $900 that our company hauled for Coyote since April of 2024. We have provided all necessary paperwork multiple times, and have been pushed from one department to another, including claims, where the claims agent emailed us and indicated that she has cleared us for payment. That was on August 13, and still no payment. When we call her, she does not call us back. DRIVERS!! DO NOT ACCEPT LOADS FROM THIS COMPANY!! You will have to fight to be paid! OVER 120 DAYS PAST DUE!

0 stars would be my rating. Call to get dispatced for a load the next day. 20 minutes on hold and then another 15 actually talking to an "agent" because English is not his native language. Waste of my time on a day off. Never sent the tracking request he said he would send. Call the next day and same thing. The person on the phone was not a native English speaker and told me my tracking was sent to my email. I don't have an email and told her so. Still no tracking. I guess sending the tracking request by text like everyone else does is just to difficult. I guess I'll have to keep making phone calls and wasting my time with non English speakers on the phone. Disappointed that my company would use a broker like this.

Garbage, absolute garbage. I paid for priority shipment in May for a conference, it was 4 days late and I called everyone and their brother to get updates as it was needed in Charlotte for a conference, it was eventually "found" in Atlanta and they were able to get it on a truck and confirmed it would be delivered the next day in Charlotte. We worked to get all of that arranged, yet THAT did not happen. The truck was late and we had to go to the terminal that afternoon to pick up the pallet (and break it down to fit in a pick up truck). On top of that, THREE and a HALF MONTHS LATER THEY SEND A BILL FOR $100 that the PACKAGE was overweight, which is was not. 100 days later. THAT IS SCAMMING MY FRIENDS. Now you know why UPS IS SELLING THEM!

The company is not responsive at all. It's been over a week I have tried to establish a new account with Coyote and the service response has been very disappointing!! UPS needs to reconsider their relationship with this group, as they are dragging down the good name and reputation of UPS!
