I picked Dr Breedlove for my first pregnancy based off reviews. I liked her sarcastic personality…at first. Keep in mind you are seeing pregnant women. Having a sense of humor is one thing, but being outright dismissive and disrespectful is another.
Example of a couple things said during my pregnancy.

Me: I prefer to do things more natural.
Her: Syphilis is natural.

Me: I did a 5D ultrasound
Her: I never understood why people do those, like do you think your baby’s face fell off?

Me: We haven’t talked about my birth plan
Her: I don’t do birth plans.

I get it, in theory you can’t plan for everything. But even when I specifically said we want the golden hour she told me that was standard. My baby was born healthy and we absolutely did NOT get a golden hour or moment alone.

I’m happy she didn’t deliver my baby. But I’m switching clinics for my next pregnancy just on the off chance she’s the delivering doctor that day.

Have some empathy for your patients. Even if you don’t agree. Even if you’ve heard the same thing 28374 times. Pregnant women should not be afraid to be vulnerable and ask questions and express their opinions and concerns. I don’t wish my experience on anyone.

Dr. Breedlove is amazing. Sadly, women’s care is losing and has lost a lot of funding. I hope things can improve soon and that ARC can also offer better customer service for patients at the desk and for appointments. Sometimes there are communication issues and long waits for a doctor to enter the room , other times youvhave to wait too long just to make an appointment due to the high demand and lack of affordable women’s care facilities in Texas.

Dr. Breedlove is extremely compassionate and friendly and makes me feel at ease. I have PCOS and related acne and adenomyosis. She prescribed the correct medication to address these concerns. She’s easy-going and knowledgeable and the best ob/gyn I have ever had. The ARC office seems very efficient and I have not had to wait past my appointment time.

Dr. Breedlove is the most amazing doctor ever! Very easy to talk to, understanding, and takes time for every patient. I will never see anyone else! She delivered my daughter 10.5 years ago and while I was acting crazy, she was completely calm and in control. ❤️ her!
